Happy Chinese New Year
On this day, we enter the Year of the Ox.
The Ox (also symbolized as a Bull or Buffalo) is a sign of prosperity and fortitude through hard work. People born under this sign are believed to be born leaders, dependable and possess an innate ability to achieve great things.
Our new president, Barack Obama was born in an Ox year, as were George Clooney, Jane Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher.
Generally, the Year of the Ox is a year to ‘hunker down’ and get work done. A time to focus on planting seeds for future harvest. Which is what we do best and can help you do too.
Shortcuts to Brilliance
I finished reading Haruki Murakami’s brilliant Kafka On the Shore and am now enjoying the hell out of Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz’ The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao. Both books are a welcome break from the usual stacks of non-fiction.
As always, thanks for paying attention. I’m looking forward to speaking with you soon.
Call me and I’ll tell you about what we’re working on. And remember: the Ox is about work.
Best wishes for the Ox,
Karl
