Great article on Whydotpharma on current pharmaceutical companies using Twitter to connect with physicians and patients.
Among the interesting facts:
- According to Pew Internet’s new report on twitter and status updating, 11% of Americans currently use twitter with e-patient’s being even more likely to use it
Also, pharmacos now active on Twitter include: Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelheim, JNJ, AstraZeneca, and Allergan. Surprisingly (or perhaps not given regulatory), a low number.
