Marketing to Kids: The Wiggles

It’s not that we’re having a boring Tuesday, we are super-busy here at the Lab, yet, this piece on Markus Allen’s web site on The Wiggles was too good to pass up.

If you don’t know who The Wiggles are, then either you’re too young to have kids, or your kids were too old when this Australian foursome burst on the scene some 6 or so years ago. When my eldest got into them, three years ago, I remember reading that nearly ALL Australian children had seen The Wiggles live at some point or another. Apparently, these guys are tireless performers who have criss-crossed that Continent numerous times.

Now, Disney owns the franchise. (They also own Baby Einstein.) Markus discusses how you can use The Wiggles as an example of marketing to kids without talking down to them.

Key point: Your family life only enhances your work and your passion. We agree.
