IBM: Worker’s Genetic Data is Verboten

IBM became the first major company to pledge it would not to use genetic data to determine healthcare or benefits. The news is significant because IBM is putting a stake in the ground in an area of healthcare law that is poised to become hotly debated. The move was praised by Genetic Alliance, a Washington-based patients advocacy group.
